South Rowan Graduate Inducted into N.C. Bowling Hall of Fame

Tracy Bradshaw Calfee, a distinguished bowler from East Flat Rock, was inducted into the North Carolina Bowling Hall of Fame in a ceremony held in Mebane on Saturday. Calfee, who began bowling at the age of eight, is celebrated as one of the top senior women bowlers in the country. She has represented the USA in international competitions and regularly bowls in Asheville’s leagues and tournaments.

A 1986 South Rowan graduate, Calfee’s athletic career began in high school, where she excelled in track and field and played college basketball for UNC Wilmington. After serving in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, she retired and continued to pursue her passion for bowling. Calfee’s induction into the Hall of Fame is a testament to her dedication and achievements in the sport.
