These sessions are available at various branch locations throughout the week, ensuring accessibility for all families.

Children can participate in the “Mother’s Day Craft” on May 11 at the Conover Branch Library, creating special gifts from air-dry clay. The same day, the Sherrills Ford-Terrell Branch Library is hosting “Family Fun Day” with live music, food trucks, and crafts to kick off the summer and introduce the Summer Learning Program. Other notable events include “Paws to Read” with therapy dogs, “Code Quest” coding basics for 3rd-5th graders, and “Tales in the Garden” featuring St. Joseph’s Irish Dancers. Teens can look forward to creating needle-felted dinosaurs while watching Jurassic Park at the Maiden Branch Library, and “Teen Night” at St. Stephens Branch Library with anime and snacks.
